いよいよ就職活動が本格的に始まる時期になりました！
そこで、日本での就職を希望する留学生をサポートするために3月23日と3月27日に【就職活動サポートセミナー】を開催しました。
12月に実施したセミナーと同様、今回のセミナーも日本語が流暢でなくても気軽に参加できるように全て英語で実施しました。
3月は情報解禁があり、一斉に学生と企業が動き始める時期です。
留学生もこの時期から本格的に就職活動の取り組む必要があります。
ですが、日本の就職活動は各国に比べて非常に特殊であるため様々な疑問を抱えている留学生が多くいます。
「何から始めるべきかわからない」「どのような流れで就職活動が行われるのかわからない」などの疑問を解消するために以下の内容でセミナーを実施しました。

- Q＆Aセッション
FAQセッションではJLPT（日本語能力試験）のレベル、就職活動を始める時期、WEBテストの受け方や対策方法、企業が留学生から求めるスキルなどについて解説しました。
その後、Q＆Aセッションで留学生から直接質問を受け付ける時間を設けました。
また、今回のセミナーでは単に情報のインプットをするだけではなく、セミナーを通じて得た情報を活かし「主体的に就職活動に取り組むこと、今すぐ行動に移すこと」を促しました。
2日間実施したセミナーには累計43名が参加し、参加後アンケートでは５段階中平均4.7ととても高い満足度を得ることができました。

【Report】English Seminar: Job Hunting Support for International Students
At last, March has come and the official start of the job-hunting process in Japan is here!
To support international students who are looking to job hunt in Japan, Enjin Inc. held a Job Hunting Support Seminar over two days, March 23 and March 27. Like the seminar held in December, this seminar was conducted entirely in English so that those who are not fluent in Japanese can also participate.
March is the month when all Japanese companies release their hiring information which is when students simultaneously start their job hunting journey.
Along with Japanese students, international students also need to start their job hunting activities from this time.
However, because job hunting in Japan is very unique compared to other countries, many international students have various questions and concerns.
This seminar was held to aid those students who are unsure of where to start their job hunting process or don’t know how job hunting works in Japan. Below are the contents that were covered in the seminar.
- Job hunting schedule overview
- Must-know websites for job hunting
- Job hunting websites for international students
- FAQ session
- Q&A session
The FAQ session addressed topics such as JLPT level, schedule of job hunting, what web testing is, how to prepare for job hunting, and traits companies look for in international students.
Following the FAQ session, the Q&A session allowed participants to ask questions directly and get answers from alumni speakers.
In addition, after inputting information on how job hunting in Japan works, this seminar emphasized the importance of 【Being proactive and starting job hunting as soon as possible】.
Over the two days, a total of 43 people participated. The seminar received a high satisfaction rate of 4.7 on a scale of 5.
