身だしなみは面接官に「この機会を大切にしている」、「しっかり準備をしてきた」、などの無言のメッセージにもなります。また、企業の採用担当者に対して調査を実施した結果では、9割以上が身なりや服装、髪型や化粧に対してその印象が、選考に影響を与えていると回答をしています。面接で好印象を当てるように事前に自分の身だしなみを確認することが大切です。
面接の身だしなみの３原則は、清潔であること・健康的であること・機能的であることです。この３原則を意識して、好印象を与えるようにしましょう！

スーツ
スーツは男女ともに清潔感と体型にあっていることが大切です。
また、夏でもジャケットやネクタイは全て身につける必要があります。暑い場合は面接会場まではジャケットを脱いでいても構いませんが、面接を始めるまでに着ましょう。
ネクタイの色は青・灰色・えんじが基本とされています。スーツのボタンはアンボタンマナーと呼ばれるものがあるため、ボタンが2つなら上だけ留め、3つなら、真ん中のみ留めるようにしましょう。
女性のスーツは基本的にパンツでもスカートでもどちらでも構いません。
パンツスーツはアクティブで積極的、かっこ良い印象を与えます。
スカートスーツはフレッシュで女性らしく、やわらかい印象を与えます。
面接官に与える印象を考えながら選びましょう。スカートスーツを選ぶ場合の注意点として、丈の長さには気を付けましょう。
スカート丈は、座った時に膝上5cmになる長さが理想的です。スーツのボタンは男性のようにアンボタンマナーがないため全て締めます。
髪型
髪型も清潔感がとても大切です。寝癖などに気をつけると共に地毛に近いビジネストーンの明るすぎない髪色にしましょう。
女性はお辞儀した際などに髪が顔にかかる場合は束ねましょう。前髪も顔がはっきり見えるようにピンで止めておくと良いでしょう。
男性は髭をきちんと整えましょう。
かばん
かばんはスーツに合う色、置いた際に自立するものを選びましょう。面接の際にかばんを床に置くことが多いので自立するものを選べば置き場所に困りません。
くつ
男性：
靴下は白ではなくスーツの色にあった黒や紺がいいでしょう。
女性：
素足ではなく肌色にあったストッキングを履きましょう！パンプスは疲れにくいものを選びましょう。ヒールは３〜５cmであると疲れにくいと共に、足が綺麗に見えます。
私服の際
面接に私服、または服装自由でお越しくださいと言われる場合があります。その際はオフィスカジュアル・ビジネスカジュアルで行きましょう。私服＝普段着ではないので注意しましょう！

Suits
Suits being clean and fitting the body type are important for both men and women.
Additionally, all jackets and ties should be worn, even in the summer. If it is too hot, you may leave the jacket off until arriving at the company, but make sure to put it on before you start the interview.
For men:
The basic colors for ties are blue, gray, and dark red.If your suit has two buttons, only fasten the top button. If your suit has two buttons, only fasten the top; if it has three, only fasten the middle.
For women:
Many people may have a hard time deciding whether to wear a skirt or pants.
Basically, either is fine. A pants suit gives an active, assertive, and cool impression.
A skirt suit gives a fresh, feminine, and soft impression.
Consider the impression you want to give to the interviewer when making your selection.
When choosing a skirt suit, be careful about the length.
Ideally, the skirt should be 5 cm above the knee when you sit down.
All buttons on the suit should be fastened, as there is no unbuttoning etiquette for women.
Hair styles
It is very important to have a clean hair style. Make sure you don’t have bed hair, and have your hair in a business tone close to your natural hair, avoid bright colors.
For women, if your hair hangs in your face when you bow, tie it up. It is also a good idea to pin your bangs back so that your face is clearly visible.
Men should trim their beards properly.
Bags
Choose a bag in a color that matches your suit and one that can stand on its own. You will often have to put your bag on the floor during the interviews, so choose one that can stand on its own to prevent problems with placement.
Shoes
For men:
Socks should be black or dark blue to match the color of your suit, not white.
For women:
Wear stockings that match your skin tone and do not go barefoot. Choose pumps that do not tire you out easily.
Pumps with a heel of 3 to 5 cm are recommended to avoid fatigue and to make your feet look good.
Non-suit attire
You may be asked to come to the interview in casual clothes or any clothes you like. If this is the case, go in office casual or business casual style clothing. Note that casual clothes do not equal everyday clothes!
Clothing to avoid
- Jeans or denim clothes
- Sneakers or sandals
- Hoodies and T-shirts
- Flashy accessories such as earrings and rings (simple one-point items are acceptable)
- Bare feet in the case of skirts
- Flashy colored items
